Our annual members' day when we can explore our practice in more depth.
In the morning Ian Gale will give a practical demonstration and discuss the making and printing of Solar Plates on an etching press.
Photopolymer plates offer the possibility of making prints using traditional papers and inks from digital, film or drawn images, using  a printing method that dates back 400 years.
In the afternoon Marj Baillie  will describe how in November 2020 eight photographers came together in an on-line workshop, tutored by Maria Falconer and Paul Hill, to produce a collaborative piece of work: "Please Adhere".
The resulting book is available on Blurb..
Marj will present the talk to members in the hall, but for those unable to attend it will be simultaneously broadcast it via Zoom online. Marj will also be joined via Zoom by other members of the group who collaborated on the 'Please Adhere' project.
You can join the Zoom presentation at 1:30 pm GMT here:
