HPG Members Evening with guest host Mike McFarlane

We are reviving an old tradition of guest hosts, and I will be stepping in this month to host our Members Evening.
The format will be as normal, so please bring your recent work, projects and inspirations to share and discuss. I always look forward to seeing everyone's work and taking part in the discussion on your ideas and inspirations.
Phil Punton's talk last session about photography based on old paintings got me thinking about all the artists that inspire my own creativity.
Are you inspired by other art forms than photography? Do they inform your creative practise? Painters, musicians, illustrators, sculptors, fashion, textiles, architects, collage, graffiti ..... can all be great inspiration?
Feel free to tell us about it and you could bring a book, print, poster, original art work, clothing, youtube video, digital images, record cover art, holiday snaps of that tiny gallery in Spain that changed your life .... something that speaks to your creativity that you can share with us. If you only like photography that is obviously fine too.
