Maria is a street and documentary photographer.
Originally from Spain, she has lived in Newcastle upon Tyne for 25+ years.
Maria's photography is candid and straightforward, trying to capture beautiful, evocative moments in everyday life.
She has been a finalist in several international competitions and her work has been published in The Guardian among other outlets.
Her latest venture is the Seen.By. Zine, a publication pulling together 16 photographers from the Northeast, all with a documentary theme.
