An online Zoom talk organised by Hexham Photography Group.
Edd Carr is an independent artist from North Yorkshire, UK, working primarily with moving image and analogue photography.
Edd has worked with alternative processes for a number of years, adapting them into moving image format. His work mostly deals with our anxieties around the ecological crisis, and the sixth mass extinction of life.
He has also created a fascinating video (some say it may be the first cyanotype video) using over 5000 cyanotypes in the process.
Edd is also the lead on the Northern Sustainable Darkroom.
This talk is part of a series of Hexham Photography Group online talks in 2021 - 22, following their success during the pandemic last year.
All Zoom Talks will start at 7:30 GMT
Details of any changes will be on our Facebook page.
