Hexham Photography Group are joined for an online talk by the photographic artist and educator Doug Chinnery.
Doug’s imagery is very distinctive, often carefully constructed and abstract in form, but what sets him apart as a photographer is his strong emphasis on the importance of inspirations/motivations behind what we do, and the importance of us finding our own creative voices as photographers.
Doug will describe some of the technical and other processes involved in his work, including using his recent book “Abstract Mindedness” as an example of channelling personal experience into the creative process.
