Colin is a professional photographer and founder member of the Hexham Photography Group as well as running local courses in photography.
He has specialised in Architecture, fine art Landscape and Still Life.
Long standing members of the group know his expertise with large format film in low light and high contrast (eg church interiors!).
This is a retrospective talk, reflecting on his career as an architectural photographer, but mainly focussing on his personal work and commissions.
His architectural photography has included work for the National Trust and two books, "The Buildings of the Pilgrim Road to Santiago de Compostela" and "Chateaux of the Loire".
Commissions have included "Northern Rock Art" and the North Pennines Landscapes of W. H. Auden.
